As a popular author and speaker, Heidi St. John has been speaking on marriage, family and cultural issues for over 15 years. Her passion to encourage moms and set them free to boldly become who God has created them to be will challenge and encourage you. Heidi has been married to her college sweetheart since 1989, and their family now includes seven children and four grandchildren! Jay and Heidi reside just outside of beautiful Vancouver, Washington, where they have homeschooled some of their kids all the way through high school and are still finishing up with a couple at home.
Heidi is the author of seven books. Her Becoming MomStrong five-book collection focuses on helping mothers build a solid biblical foundation for their families. Founder of Excellence in Writing, Homeschool Father of 7

Andrew Pudewa is the founder and director of the Institute for Excellence in Writing and a father of seven. Traveling and speaking around the world, he addresses issues related to teaching, writing, thinking, spelling, and music with clarity, insight, practical experience, and humor. His seminars for parents, students, and teachers have helped transform many a reluctant writer and have equipped educators with powerful tools to dramatically improve students’ skills.
Although he is a graduate of the Talent Education Institute in Japan and holds a Certificate of Child Brain Development from the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, his best endorsement is from a young Alaskan boy who called him “the funny man with the wonderful words.” He and his heroic wife, Robin, have homeschooled their seven children and are now proud grandparents of fifteen, making their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

HSLDA Attorney, Homeschool Father of 8

Kevin and his wife, Wendi, have 8 children and became homeschooling parents in 2008. Kevin is a graduate of Wheaton College (IL) and received his J.D. from Seattle University. Prior to joining HSLDA, Kevin served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for 10 years a Judge Advocate, allowing he and Wendi to homeschool in three different countries and five states. Kevin served full-time for three years in the Alaska Air National Guard he continues his service as a drill-status Guardsman in Alaska attached to the 168th Wing, Eielson AFB, AK. As HSLDA staff attorney and Director of Global Outreach, Kevin serves as the primary contact for members in 12 states and directs HSLDA’s international program, working to expand homeschooling freedom around the globe. He is passionate about the freedom to homeschool, the blessings of being a husband and dad, most things outdoors, and spending time with his family.
