David and Shirley Quine

David Quine is a nationally recognized speaker and author heading Cornerstone Curriculum, a Christian based educational curriculum. He draws on 30 years of experience as a teacher, administrator, consultant, and author. As a home schooling father, David brings his personal experience to present high content programs with challenge and encouragement. David gives presentations to state conventions, and local support groups. His areas of expertise include: Christian education, Biblical world view, discipleship, math and science education, and music and art education. He and his wife, Shirley, have home educated their nine children in Richardson, Texas since 1980.

Bob and Tina Farewell married in 1979 and began home educating with the birth of the first of their five children in 1983. Though they planned to do “school at home,” God intervened by rapidly growing their business, Lifetime Books and Gifts, allowing their family to enjoy a lifestyle of learning and to travel, explore, read, think, and discover. Bob and Tina pursue four main goals for their family: the love of Christ, the love of family and others, the love of learning, and creating a multigenerational vision.

Since 1989 the Farewells have traveled around the United States for at least six months each year speaking to thousands of families and hosting retreats, conferences, and workshops. For years they published the Lifetime Treasures and Lifetime Entrepreneurs e-newsletters as well as numerous audio and printed resources for families, including the widely acclaimed Always Incomplete Resource Guide.

After eighteen years of successful business and ministry, the Farewells sold their business to the Gus and Shirley Solis family to continue the Lifetime legacy. The Farewells continue with their calling and mission as speakers in the homeschool world and in other venues. They founded Bringing Dads Home, a business and ministry designed to help families succeed in their family, homeschooling, and entrepreneurial adventures.
