APHEA recommends membership in the Home School Legal Defense Association (HSLDA), which is dedicated to advocate the right of all to home school and to protect the interests of every member family. HSLDA’s attorneys are among the country’s most experienced practitioners in the area of home school law. Most of the legal threats to member families are successfully resolved through early intervention. For those families who end up in court, HSLDA provides full representation at no cost to the family.
HSLDA membership is $115 per year. If you are an APHEA member, the rate is ONLY $95 per year. You should indicate your APHEA membership on the HSLDA application.
