Welcome to the Members area of our website! Our member families are at the core of APHEA, and they are the reason we exist as an organization. APHEA has members all across the state, and we strive to benefit them through a variety of ways. These include providing helpful information through our annual convention, regular newsletters, and this website. We keep track of legislation that could affect homeschoolers and send out alerts as needed. As the statewide homeschool organization, we also help to connect homeschoolers with support groups in their areas. It’s a great way to connect with other homeschooling families and learn from each other.

Our Support Groups page has information and contacts for the many groups across the state. If you would like to have your support group added to our list, please contact us at board@aphea.org.
If you have a student who is preparing to graduate high school, you should visit our High Schoool/College page. APHEA and our member families have worked with local universities to improve their admission policies for homeschoolers. We have made encouraging progress in this area, including with Mat-Su College, UAA, and UAF.
