We are an all-volunteer organization of homeschooling parents that has been serving our community for over 33 years!
April 3rd – The Mothers & Daughters Tea on Friday is full, as we have filled the 250 available seats. You can still RSVP when you register, and we’ll add you to a waiting list in case there are open seats.
April 2nd – We’re having a #STRONGSTART Giveaway this year! All families who arrive by 9:40AM on Friday morning will be entered to win a beautiful Pioneer Woman Instant Pot. Registration opens at 9:00AM, and we’ll have donuts and coffee available until 9:30AM. See you soon!
April 1st – No jokes today, just exciting convention updates! The finalized convention schedule has been posted! There are over 35 keynote/featured speaker sessions, workshops, and exciting events for the whole family. Enjoy planning your two days of learning and fun, and we look forward to seeing you!
The growing list of Silent Auction donors boasts more than 50 businesses and organizations! It’s going to be an exciting event at the convention, and there’s something for everyone. It’s a great fundraiser, so come ready to bid! We really appreciate the generosity of all our donors!
March 18th – We hope you are all enjoying the warmer weather, and it’s a sure sign our spring convention is getting closer. Attendee registration continues, and it’s a quick and easy process online. We look forward to seeing you at the convention!

You are invited to our annual 2019 Convention, happening April 5th-6th! We will have brand new speakers to the APHEA Convention, and we are looking forward to welcoming Bryan and Sonya to Alaska. They are both dynamic national speakers and we are honored to have them. In addition, we’ll have a vendor hall featuring a wide variety of educational businesses and organizations, both local and national. There will be plenty of sessions and workshops for all ages, including the kids. And as always, we’ll have an exciting silent auction with items from many generous donors. This is a family-friendly event and kids are welcome!
